Shelby's bio:

Dr. Shelby Harris is the Director of the Behavioral Sleep Medicine Program at the Sleep-Wake Disorders Center at Montefiore Medical Center. She holds a dual academic appointment as Assistant Professor at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in both the Neurology and Psychiatry Departments and is board certified in Behavioral Sleep Medicine by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. Shelby graduated with her doctorate in clinical psychology from the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology, Yeshiva University. She completed her predoctoral internship at Montefiore Medical Center where she trained in the Sleep-Wake Disorders Center and received advanced postdoctoral training in Cognitive Behavior Therapy for anxiety and depressive disorders. She has written for the New York Times and Psychology Today, and has made numerous television appearances.
